All artists, crafters and makers welcome to participate in this community gathering facilitated by knitwear specialist Tina Tse.

This craft gathering features two special guests: Leslie Rogers and Lisa Shackleford-Anderson.

Help Leslie Rogers sew butterfly costumes for her milkweed workshop coming up on Saturday, September 28. Participants can return to don the costumes to forage milkweed in the Detroit Design District/Milwaukee Junction neighborhood around the exhibit. This is not a “make-and-take” workshop but is intended to generate butterfly wings that will be used at Saturday’s milkweed experience!

Lisa Shackleford-Anderson will also be back with her Art in Bloom project. Come learn to crochet and/or participate in the crochet project to fill the Detroit Public Library with floral blooms as part of Lisa’s Art in Bloom garden-themed installation program.
